 Girl Start Over was started in 2023 by Star Lashay after years of heartbreak, toxic relationships, and losing herself in the process.

After moving to a brand new city, Star began a healing journey that changed her life.

For years, she started businesses, helped other women build businesses, and encouraged women through the things they were going through. She had always had a passion for helping women, especially through business and entrepreneurship.

But eventually, her message became bigger than business.

Star began sharing her own personal stories, the things she had experienced, the relationships she had survived, and what it looked like to truly find herself again.

Through her own journey, she believes God pulled her out of toxic relationships, led her back to herself, and showed her that there was purpose in everything she had been through.

She learned to value herself again.

And she realized that her story wasn't just for her.

There were other women who needed to know that they could leave, heal, rebuild, and become someone new.

That's where Girl Start Over was born.

Girl Start Over is a space for women who are ready to heal, grow, and get back to themselves.

Through events, trail walks, classes, conversations, books, and community, Girl Start Over creates experiences that encourage women to learn who they are, heal their hearts, reconnect with God, and begin building a life they actually love.
