You Can Start Over

Girl Start Over was founded in 2023 when I made the decision to leave Chicago, move to Orlando, and start my life over.

At the time, I didn't know exactly what Girl Start Over would become. I just knew I had a heart for encouraging women and wanted to share my journey along the way.

What started with makeup, sharing my experiences in business, talking about my failures, and encouraging other women to pursue their own new beginnings slowly grew into something much deeper.

As a single mother of two, I've experienced seasons of my life where I had to rebuild, not just financially or physically, but emotionally and spiritually too. I've experienced toxic relationships, heartbreak, feeling unchosen, and having to learn my worth outside of how someone else treated me.

For a long time, I didn't realize how much of myself I had lost trying to hold on to things that weren't good for me.

But God had another plan for my life.

Through my own journey, I began to understand that starting over wasn't something to be ashamed of. Sometimes it's exactly what you need to do to become the woman God created you to be.

And that's how Girl Start Over began to grow into what it is today.

I don't share my story because I've done everything right or because I have all the answers. I share it because I know what it's like to need a new beginning, and I want other women to know that one is possible for them too.
